"JTTF Hope in Motion Day" Hosted by JT Townsend Foundation
February 19, 2025 -- Ponte Vedra Beach, FL – The JT Townsend Foundation (JTTF) held its latest JTTF Hope In Motion Day on February 19th at the One Call Building in Jacksonville, Florida. These special days are held throughout the year as part of JTTF’s ongoing mission to provide essential adaptive equipment and financial resources to families in need
Each month, JTTF delivers life-changing equipment to children and families when they need it most. The foundation provides wheelchairs, medical beds, strollers, wagons, cranial helmets, speech and hearing devices, bathing equipment, and financial assistance for adaptive equipment not covered by insurance. Through these efforts, JTTF continues to make a significant impact on the First Coast community.
“Our JTTF Hope in Motion days are incredibly meaningful because we meet the families and personally present them with the equipment they need,” said Carmen Townsend, Giving Chair of JT Townsend Foundation. “This is more than just equipment—it’s about providing hope and the opportunity for children to simply be children and for families to experience moments of joy together,” added Townsend.

During the event, families received essential mobility and adaptive equipment such as bicycles and strollers and a wagon bringing smiles and relief to those in attendance. “We are so proud to be recognized as a Top Great Nonprofit for 12 consecutive years, and we are deeply grateful to our long-standing partners, including Champions for Hope, Duval Ford, Brooks Rehabilitation, Moorman Miracles Foundation, The de la Torre Family, The PLAYERS Championship, Servpro Team Clark, the Rotary Club of Deerwood and other partners for their unwavering support,” said Pauline Gerry, Executive Director of JT Townsend Foundation.
